On the Pária Peninsula in the state of Sucre, is the lovely beach of Playa Medina, probably one of the most beautiful coastal enclaves in Venezuela. Originally a coconut plantation, numerous palms fringe the crescent beach, and the dense forests of the mountains form a contrasting deep green backdrop to the golden color of the sand. Read more
