Tobago is a hidden Paradise, you may enjoy Tobago all over, Snorkeling and Scuba Diving, oldest protected rain forests, picturesque beaches, blue waters and surrounded by gorgeous views, coral reefs, tasty cuisine, charming villas, etc., I had hoped that Tobago might remain undiscovered but surely deserves the benefits of tourism.

Family Re-union of the John’s
Theme: Keeping It Together.
The descendants of Japhet John and Cordellia Romeo have enjoyed their first family reunion at Canoe Bay Beach Resort, Tobago. Held on April 20th, 2008. Was a long day schedule enjoyable with sporting events, family tree event, Tug-O-WAR Competition, bouncy castle & Face painting, beach bathing, or just enjoying the fellowship with family.
I have to tell you all the excitement of being there brings so many thoughts and questions through my head, above is a picture of one of my aunt hugging the eldest in the family " Uncle Simeon".
Everyone had a great time and can’t wait until next.

This Reunion has established new lines of communications between each other, most family members lived hundreds of miles between relatives and months between phone calls and letters. Staying united as a family is not easy. Technology can make keeping in touch a little bit easier, so, we have all exchanged emails address, phones, online chat, WebPages, etc.
This event fascinates me and I just may say that I love my roots, I love Tobago and I love my family.

The historic house at 12 Queen's Park West, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, known to many simply as "The Gingerbread House", is in danger of demolition.Built in 1904 and designed by the architect Edward Bowen, the house has been in the Boissiere family for 104 years. It is now being offered for sale, and is in grave danger of being bought by a property developer who will demolish it to build an office block.The Boissiere House is a prime example of the late Victorian creole "gingerbread" architecture that was once characteristic of Port of Spain. It is a landmark known to hundreds of thousands, and a national architectural treasure.In his 1983 book Ajoupa, architect John Newel Lewis wrote: "No. 12 Queen's Park West ... is a classic Trinidad building.... This cottage Ajoupa is marked by its green slate, steeply-pitched roof which is the main element. A large dormer gable is most beautifully decorated with fretwork, the finest remaining example in Trinidad.... The whole effect is magical and nostalgic with mysterious colours and a melancholy air. This house is an example of Trinidad's visual heritage at its best."

Para entrar en un poco de historia, cuenta Wikipedia que Halloween es una fiesta proveniente de la cultura célta. La palabra Halloween es una derivación de la expresión inglesa All Hallow's Eve (Víspera del Día de los Santos). Se celebraba en los países anglosajones, principalmente en Canadá, Estados Unidos, Irlanda y el Reino Unido. Pero actualmente se celebra en casi todos los países occidentales con mayor o menor presencia.

Puente es puente!!!
No, no me refiero a las estructuras obra de la ingeniería civil, habló de los fines de semanas que son alargados por días feriados que caen en lunes, martes, jueves o viernes.
¿Y quien se queja por un puente? Lo que más nos gusta a los Venezolanos es tomar un puente; Contamos los días, no dejamos de ver el calendario, hacemos planes, usamos el comodín de llamar a un amigo y lo más cumbre es que disfrutamos parejo y sin parar… ¡Nos lo merecemos! Un día más importa, un día menos…que se le va hacer!
Y que me dices si eres uno de esos viajeros empedernidos, esos que no se pierden un feriado y ya sea al campo, ciudad, achicharrarse en la playa, montaña, llanos, ríos, lagos, desierto, selva, nieve o volcán…puente es puente!!!
